SÆJA INTERIORS

Sæja interiors is a design studio based in Reykjavík Iceland. Taking on private as well as commercial projects, they work with a wide range of clients creating bespoke and luxurious interiors for residences, retail and hospitality.

What characterizes the work is contrasts and combining different materials with clean lines and rich textures, where lighting and fine detailing is important. The end result are spaces that are considered and welcoming but effortless and homes that can be lived in.

Sæja interios is led by Sæbjörg Guðjónsdóttir or Sæja as she is usually called. Sæja graduated as an interior designer in 2011 from KLC School of Design / University of Brighton and was awarded John Cullen Lighting Design of the year.

Since graduating, Sæja has worked at the architectural firm The Manser Practice in London, as well as designing for retail, restaurants, hotels and participating in competitions in collaboration with designers and architects both at home and abroad. Sæja returned home in 2014 and founded her own studio, Sæja interiors.
